Your rights
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data. This page explains how to delete your RECO account and associated data yourself, and how to contact us for other data-related requests. For more on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
What data we store
When you use RECO, we may store data such as:
- Account information (name, email, profile details)
- Content you create (posts, drafts, media, scheduled content)
- Team and workspace data
- Connected integrations (e.g. social accounts)
- Activity and usage logs
- Payment and subscription information (processed by our payment provider)
How to delete your account
You can permanently delete your account and associated data from your account settings. This action cannot be undone.
- Sign in to your RECO account at the app or website.
- Go to Dashboard (main app after login).
- Open Security in the dashboard navigation (or Account / Settings, depending on the menu).
- Scroll to the Delete Account section.
- Enter your password to confirm your identity.
- Click Delete Account and confirm.
After deletion, your account will be deactivated and we will process the removal of your personal data in line with our retention and legal obligations. You will no longer be able to sign in with that account.
What happens after deletion
We will deactivate your account and remove or anonymize your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Some data may be retained for a limited time where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes. Backups may retain data for a short period before being overwritten.
Other requests (export, partial deletion, questions)
If you want to request a copy of your data (data portability), limit what we use, or have questions about deletion, contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time (e.g. 30 days where required by law).
